I'm incredibly excited about our next 4Experts class: Re-purpose, Re-think, Re-invent. Jenni Bowlin has an amazing eye for finding unique vintage treasures and turning her discoveries into beautiful décor and scrapbook projects.
I invite you to spend the next 12 weeks with Jenni – you’ll walk away with a new perspective on all things old, used and discarded. Jenni shares some of her flea-market secrets, and will get you excited about treasure hunting!
I wanted to give you all a sneak peek of Jenni’s fabulous classroom, handouts, and projects…
Please leave a comment and let me know:
A) Your favorite treasure that you’ve ever found.
OR
B) Something “vintage” that you’d love to find!
I’ll select a name Tuesday at 9pm PDT, and the winner will receive a free seat in Jenni’s class!!! (If you’ve already purchased the class, we’ll refund your purchase!)
Don’t forget, you can use the code summer2009 to receive 10% off Jenni’s class until Tuesday night!
Hope to see you there!

Congratulations SherryGrove! You've just won a free seat in Jenni Bowlin's class: Re-purpose, Re-think, Re-invent!
I was in an antique shop with my mom and found a rectangle WWII lapel pin with a red border, white background, and three blue stars. I asked my mom what it meant, and she told me that pins like this were worn by families who had sons in the service. This particular pin meant a family had three sons in the war. THREE! I brought the pin home. That family deserves my honor and respect, even if I don't know who they are. Just thinking about what that meant to another mom almost brings me to tears.

I need to make a layout descriping how every year in the first part of June, as soon as we got done with school, my mother would take us blueberry picking. I can still feel the Florida sun beating down on me and taste the blueberries we ate (faster than the ones that went into the bucket).
