Today, my plan was to discuss priorities for the New Year, but as I sat down to write I began thinking about a meeting recently with our fearless leader, Stacy Julian. We were discussing plans and goals for the year and in closing she left us with some words from a yoga master. They were very uplifting words but the main message was to focus on the greater purpose. After thinking it over, I realized the point Stacy was making is that when we focus on achieving our greater purpose our priorities tend to fall in line.
Our greater purpose at BPS is.… you guessed it…. the Big Picture! But more specifically the purpose of scrapbooking. Why do you choose to scrapbook? What greater purpose in your life is being fulfilled by creating those pages? How do you choose the photos that go on those pages and be true to your purpose for scrapbooking?
Stacy Julian’s, Library of Memories is starting February 4th. For those of you that have taken this class previously, you know how Stacy’s energy and unique spirit gets you back to the basics and helps you remember the Big Picture! If you have not taken Library of Memories, I hope that you will sign up this year. Stacy has updated the class and has great things in store for you!
Stacy’s Purpose for Library of Memories
“I want to put the fun back into scrapbooking. Forget the guilt and connect to your true potential as a memory maker and storyteller. When this happens, everything else falls into place."
Here’s your challenge for this week. Share with us in the comments below your greater purpose for scrapbooking? Stacy Julian will pick her favorite answer in her BPS blog post later this week and that person will receive Library of Memories on us.
