Have you ever wished that you had a recipe box for scrapbook pages? A set of tried-and-true techniques for journaling, embellishment placement, photo placement, and paper pattern mixing/matching? Well, look no further, because May Flaum has opened her recipe box to share her secrets to creating pages like this:
May's Recipes for Scrapbooking Success is more than a layout class: May will show you how she makes her layouts, but she shares how she adapts and adjusts those recipes to create multiple layouts with a few simple twists. Your pages will all be unique, but your creations will feel effortless -- as long as you have the recipes, of course!
I hope you'll join us in Recipes for Scrapbooking Success. I'd like you to visit May's class description here and tell me about what kind of recipe you need most as you create your layouts. One of you will win a seat in the class: I'll pull a random winner Sunday (October 5th) at 5:00 p.m. PDT...and be sure to grab your seat in cooking class before registration closes on Wednesday, October 8th! (By the way, if you want to make sure you get your spot, go ahead and sign up -- we'll take care of the winner if she's already enrolled)!
Please tell me you will run this class again ... as a Projects Now class, if not a Workshop! I am desperate to do this class.

I'm already in May's class, but I had to post about how great it is in case anyone is reading these comments. :) May's previous class (Kits) was incredible. It absolutely changed the way I scrap and I couldn't be happier.
Off to do my homework for class!

I would so love to win a place in May's class! I have been looking at it for some time, but I haven't been able to register. I just started scrapping in April and tend to place my photos the same way on most pages. I would love to have new recipes! Thank you for the giveaway!

I'm a boring scrapbook baker! I easily decide where to put photos & journaling, but I really struggle with knowing how to spice it up with embellishments and patterned paper. And I have enough of those to scrapbook for at least a dozen years at my current pace of using them up, and I really want to buy more, so please let me learn how to use them on my pages! :)

I would love to see recipes for using multiple patterned papers together.
I'd love to win a seat in this class!

I need recipies to "spice" up my "cooking", although I can bake a fairly good cake, I always seem to find them lacking in something. I think a good recipe is what I need!
Thanks for the chance to win a baking lessor with May - she ROCKS!

I need recipes for using patterned paper. I'm getting better, but still am a bit skiddish using some together!

I need recipes for placing embellishments and deciding when enough is enough, or not enough. I would love a spot in the class.

I'd love to learn how to 'decorate' my delicious cakes. =) I never seem to use enough icing and I'm sure May could show me how. Thanks for the chance to get a seat.

I need recipes for using "cute" stuff on my boy pages...and for mini albums! May ROCKS! ;)

I need some serious recipes on pattern paper mixing! I'm pretty okay with placement and adding in some embellies to mix it up, but I find I'm always using mainly cardstock and one (or maybe two) pieces of patterned paper.

Photo placement--definitely! I often get stuck in a rut using the same layout of photos.

I'd love some recipes for photo placements. I always seem to put mine in one of 2-3 ways. I'd also love recipes for finishing my pages.....fun embellishments to use, techniques with ribbons, etc. Hope I win...I've had my eye on this class for awhile!

I'm another with great issues with mini books. I have lots of blanks waiting around, but don't have the guts (or right recipe) to get started on them.

I would love some tried and true recipes for placing my embellishments. I'm usually confident in my photo placement and color choices, but when it comes to the embellishments I feel like my layouts never look quite finished. I would love to win a spot in May's class, thanks for the opportunity! :)

I need help choosing the product once I have a design in mind. Do I go with a large pattern floral? A mini-stripe? Tone-on-tone solid? I've never taken an online class before and would like to win a spot in May's class to see how this works.
