My biggest issue is deciding on a system and then sticking with it. I think this class is going to be awesome for me!

Janelle

I packed up all my supplies when I moved and they are still in boxes and containers hidden all over the house. Yes, it's been plenty long enough for me to have unpacked those boxes, but I have no where to put the items so they remain in plastic bins. When I want to create I usually end up buying something because I don't know where the products I need are throughout the house. Then I rarely finish a page or project because somewhere is that great embellishment that would make my page pop. I get so frustrated and angry that I never seem to get anything done. I always mean to sit down and go through those boxes, find and organize the stuff I have stored elsewhere, but I'm never successful. I never get close to finishing before company is coming over or my family complains about the mess. I get frustrated and shove the items back into containers (sometimes even a new container or two) and I'm back to the beginning of my never ending cycle.
I think I would have so much more success if I knew there was a whole group of people working on this too while sharing ideas and offering support. With a set deadline (the duration of the class) I think I might finally get those boxes unpacked, sorted and stored/displayed so that I can return to my original purpose of CREATING! I can't wait to get started on the lessons in this class!

I need to organize my space desperately because my embellies, papers, etc. are a big mess and therefore, I am not getting ANY scrapbooking done at all. I have some "work-in-progress" piles and things I keep buying which are piled up on my dining room table, and I have a small extra room upstairs which I would like to use for scrapbooking (which is a mess too...UGH!). However, what I find most challenging is how to organize my space in a way so that when I go to a crop, I don’t have to bring all of my stuff and can easily grab what I need and also have a place to return it to. As of now, a lot of my supplies sit untouched in my totes from the last crop and I never seem to be able to work at home because it always turns into an organizational project first. HELP!!

What do I do with kits? I subscribe and then never get around to using them. I stash them away and forget I have them!

Kristen Schoesszler

being able to find my photos quickly

My biggest challenge is how to sort and store my papers, cardstock and scraps!!! Need so much help in that area!!!!

Bethany

I can't wait for this class! My biggest challenge is figuring out what to do with patterned paper--whole sheets and scraps. In general, my paper stash is a mess--some divided by color, some by manufacturer, and other sheets just lying around. Then there's the box where I dump any paper leftovers after I've finished working on a page--it's beyond overflowing!

But a new year, and a new *organized* room is on the way!

I am so excited for this class! My biggest challenge is that I keep buying more and more stuff, but I seem to never find the time to create, so the piles just keep getting bigger and bigger! ACKKKK! It is taking over, like a giant paper, sticker, rubber stamp monster (that I love dearly, LOL). I am already signed up for the class, but I wouldn't mind being reimbursed.
Thanks,
Kathryn W.

My biggest challenge is to clear off my dining room table and put things away. I seem to just pile layers of projects on it. When I start to clean it off I get about half-way finished and start playing instead of finishing the clean-up. Thanks for offering this spot in the class.

i have no order at all, i want to be able to organise my 3 kids photos in a much better way than just random boxes. And for my scrapbook stuff to be in a more organised system. i have no idea what i have

My biggest challenge is keeping myself organized. I can get organized, but maintaining it is a challenge. Maybe I should just be better at cleaning up after myself, eh?? :)

Kimberly D

My biggest organizational challenge is that I cannot see the forest for the trees - I am so concerned that I do not have a dedicated space in which to create - that I let all my gorgeous supplies languish in closed and not visible storage containers - while I lament that I have no where to work!

Just typing this I see how ridiculous this is - I have a dining room table for goodness sake!

I need to stop thinking I need a space that looks like it is out of a magazine, I need to be thankful that I have a home and I need to create the projects that dance in my head.

Ann Grounds

I'm not commenting to win a spot as I am an almuni of last years class. I'm here to say what a wonderful class it was and that everyone should take it at one time or another!!

Shirley

My biggest challenge, well...it is everything. I have so much stuff that it is really hard to find anything. Everything is everywhere. Paper here, paper there, paper everywhere and ribbon, and gadgets, and embellishments. I could go on and on. Happy New Year!

Chris

My problem is I am a pack rat and a hoarder. I buy stuff to use on the "special project" and then never use it! I go to crops and classes and love what is being used or shown, and buy it, then take it home, use it once more and then "store" it.

My daughter is expressing an interest in scrapbooking, and I know she feels overwhelmed by all the choices. I want to get back to it being Simple!

I am not registering for this class, as I have registered for Stacy's LOM class, and I know that will help me in a big way to organize my photos. But it would be nice if my area was organized too!

Darcy

My biggest organizational issue is that I love to organize *almost* as much as I love to create! Organizing is FUN, and I need to figure out a solid system so I'm not constantly tempted to "re-organize" myself... I just love all those boxes, drawers, containers and things to hold all the doo-dads and such - I'm like a kid in a candy store at The Container Store! Is there a support group for this???

Leana

My biggest challenge is that I am always re-organizing instead of creating!

Alicia in Salem

I have a problem with stickers, rubons, and transparencies, etc. I can never seem to get them sorted in a way that works for me.

ScrappyMommy

Organization of my scrapbook "cubby" is at the TOP of my list this year. The hardest one for me is embellishments because they range in size and it's so hard for me to store them. I'd guess that my second biggest obstacle is paper.

debbycruises

My greatest challenge is organizing my quilting, crafting, and scrapbooking supplies in a way that I would have room for everything and I would be able to find what I need when I need it. I would like to be able to cross-over my hobbies using supplies from quilting in my scrapbooking and so on.

Sheila M.

My greatest challenge is utilizing my organization items. I buy stuff or get stuff and it piles up. I tend to set up organizational systems that I don't use.

Donna S.

I just have way too much stuff. I buy more than i create. I have resolved to clean out all the junk in the finished part of our basement so that i can use this area for my crafting. I currently have taken over our living room (we tend to use our family room instead) and am embarrassed if anyone sees my mess. I want to have my things downstairs so that i can leave everything out that i am working on. If i clean stuff out i can use the space for all of my supplies. I have many organizational totes etc. i just need to make space for them and have an organized room i will be comfortable in. I would like to get my living room back and make it available to my family.

Theresa Elliott

My biggest craft related organizational challenge would have to be.... my husband, if that makes sense! I have all my craft stuff in a spare closet since he does not like to see clutter. That makes it so hard to see my supplies and be inspired and organized all at the same time! It hurts my head just thinking about it. I am in desperate need of some organization so I can scrapbook to reduce my stress!

Happy New Year!

Delia W

Getting organized is one of my challenges for 2009... Keeping to it. I think that is my biggest problem. Keeping to it. Which I think is a sign that what I currently have isn't really the right solution for me.
