November 23, 2009

My last letter was to my son on the day he was born, Sept 15, 2009. Before that is to my oldest son on his second birthday...July 2, 2009. Thanks for the giveaway. Have a great Thanksgiving!

I usually write a letter to my husband before he goes on a trip - usually every 8-10 months. Other than that, emails and cards are mostly what I write. Thanks for the chance!

I would like to take this class, because I haven't written a meaningful letter since college. Though I hope my daughter likes the little slips of paper she gets in her lunch box. LOL!!

I'm much better at getting my words on paper now that I'm working on my BPS Yesterday & Today class. But the last time I wrote a note, it was probably to explain to my husband my position on something that I felt he was not fully embracing. Don't you think it's much easier to write something when you're passionately angry as opposed to passionately loving? I wonder if it has to do with being guarded, protecting feelings. Hmmmmm....something to explore!!!

I don't remember the last time I wrote a long letter to anyone, but I do like to write short notes to my husband and sons almost everyday. I would love to seat down and write to my best friend which I haven't heard from in a few years. Thank you.

I have three handwritten letters to be send in my purse; but havent. I LOVE to write letters to friends and to receive them as well.

Wow... the closest to a written letter was a handmade card with a note. Does that count? The class sounds interesting and definitely one I could use.

I can't remember the last time I wrote an actual letter to someone I care about. That's so sad. A few words in a birthday card are as close as I get.

the last meaningful letter was a letter to my daughter when she was born... i know I will have more coming up soon as i will be working on some very special keepsake pages - not like the everyday normal journalling!!

Thanks for this and would love to receive this!

Michele May got me with the handwritten. I would love to start handwriting letters. I have e-mailed, twittered, facebooked and typed up some pretty sincere stuff for my scrapbooks...but a handwritten letter? I can't remember the last time I wrote a letter. But I know the joy of receiving one. A dear friend had written a beautiful letter to my boys when they were little. That friend past away about a year later. I treasure her letter not only because of the sentiment but because it was written in her own hand. When we look at it now we can see a part of her that was never captured in a photograph or video and what font could do it justice? Her heart flowed through the pen onto the paper. That was quite a letter. I wish I could do that.

I'm not sure but I think I wrote a love letter to my boyfriend at the beggining of our relationship :)

I last wrote a meaningful letter to my daughter when she turned sixteen this past April. I'd like to do this for all of my children on their birthdays.

A few years ago I wrote a letter to my dear friend from high school. We usually communicate using email, so it was neat to write a letter, which I hadn't done in a long time. It took her about 6 mths to write back and I *still* haven't gotten her response done. Makes my hand hurt! :)

I wrote a letter to my husband on Father's Day. He's such an amazing dad, and I'm so glad he's the father of my children.

I realise NOW that as a Wife, Daughter,
Mum, Sister, Friend etc. I had turned into a chameleon, trying to be what everyone else wanted me to be at any given time. So I chose to make some changes and recently, taking on the kindest words of a long last Aunt, I wrote a letter to myself with the title 'Bless My Heart'!
And in this letter I went inside the very core of ME and wrote about my dreams, passions, goals, abilities, what I have achieved and what I am going to and no matter what anybody else thinks, says or tries to judge me by - This is who I am! and I will not forget again my Life's purpose... but yet am so blessed to Learn So Much More!!

Last year, I made a very special mini-album for my little brother, who is a cancer survivor. In this mini-album, I included a lot of feelings and emotions we shared from childhood to present, in a "letter" to him. That's one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I'm so glad I did.

I wrote a letter to my husband on our anniversary in September. I actually made it into a layout after I gave it to him.

The last time I wrote a meaningful letter was 2 years ago on my husband's birthday. It was a "thank you" letter to his mother - for giving him life, raising him to be the wonderful man he is and all she means to me.

I haven't done a letter in a long time - but I have managed to send quite a few "Just because/I'm thinking of you" cards in 2009 as one of my resolutions. Thanks for the reminder - I'll add some more heartfelt thoughts in my cards!

My anniversary was a couple of weeks ago and I wrote a letter to my husband telling him how much he means to me.

The last meaninful letter I wrote was to my brother when he was stationed in Iraq telling him how proud I was to have him as my brother and what he was doing for our country. Turns out, I will be writing letters to him again as he has been deployed to afghanistan in January. This class would be a great way for me to practice my writing skills and send letters that are filled with what I really mean in a clear concise format. : ) It also would be very helpful on my scrapbook pages - wierd I didn't think of that first! ha ha

I don't think I've ever written a meaningful letter. That's horrible!

The last meaningful letter that I actually wrote was to be read at my mother's funeral. It was my final time to tell her how much she meant to me and how privileged I had been to be her daughter. The only regret I expressed in the entire letter was that she would miss the birth of her first grandchild (my daughter was born two weeks after she passed away).

My last meaningful letter was written to my youngest son in May of 2007 when he graduated from high school. This is saved in his "parting letters from his parents envelope" that I attached on the last page of his Graduation Album from the class that I participated in from BPS!

I don't think that I have written a meaningful letter to someone since I left college back in 1988. Wow that is a long long time ago.
