What about using bold, colorful, unexpected, surreal, attention getting or thrill-seeking
You see I‘ve been noticing that with my writing, I have been getting into a routine. Why? Well, that’s an easy question to answer. Routine is easy, effective and comfortable.
So, I ask you, how to do feel about scrapbooking these days? Do you feel like you are getting into a routine? Are you using the same techniques, the same color schemes, and scrapping the same events over and over again? Would you like to get some bold and colorful new ideas? Learn some attention getting new techniques? Create unexpected page designs about some surreal event that occurred in your life?
If you are interested in breaking out of your routine, take a look at some of BPS teacher Nic Howard’s classes. Nic is passionate about looking beyond the obvious, breaking out of the norm and creating scrapbook layouts and projects with a different perspective.
Nic Howard’s latest class Point of View begins January 28th. Point of View is a favorite that has been recently refreshed with brand new content. Nic is also our next expert in the 4EXPERTS series with a brand new workshop called Dimensional Details (registration opens February 4th).
Today’s challenge is to look through your pages and pick your favorite word used on a page. Just write the word in the comments below and add it as your facebook status to describe BPS. For example: “Big Picture Scrapbooking is colorful.” While you are there, please visit the BPS fan page and sign up as a fan. We will randomly award two seats in Nic Howard’s Point of View later this week to kick off Nic’s guest blog. Now, go shake up your day with some thrill-seeking of your own.
